Our commitment
Real Code Ltd conducts all business honestly and with integrity. We comply fully with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in any form, whether committed by us or by anyone acting on our behalf.
What this means in practice
- We never offer, promise, give, request or accept bribes or kickbacks — in the private or public sector, in the UK or overseas.
- We do not make facilitation payments, and we do not use third parties to do anything we could not do directly ourselves.
- We do not make political donations. Any charitable giving is transparent and unrelated to winning business.
Gifts and hospitality
Ordinary, modest business hospitality — such as a working lunch — is acceptable where it is proportionate and could not reasonably be seen as an attempt to influence a decision. Anything lavish, frequent or timed around a procurement decision is not acceptable, whether offered or received.
Conflicts of interest
We declare any personal or financial interest that could affect — or be seen to affect — the impartiality of our work. Where a genuine conflict exists, we will tell the client and step back from the relevant decision.
Working with others
We expect contractors, suppliers and partners we engage to uphold equivalent standards. If we suspect bribery or corruption in a relationship, we will investigate and, where necessary, end that relationship and report it to the relevant authorities.
Raising a concern
Concerns can be raised confidentially with the director at contact@realcode.co.uk. Reports are investigated promptly and no one will be treated unfairly for raising a genuine concern.
